Participating in outdoor activities is important for our physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Visiting a lodge in the backcountry has numerous risks which are outlined in the waiver, including the risk of infectious disease.

VMT takes many precautions to minimize this risk, including the daily sanitizing of surfaces in the lodge, providing hand sanitizer and hand washing stations throughout all buildings and plating most meals individually rather than serving food buffet-style.

We ask that you do not visit VMT if you are sick with a virus or other transmittable illness. Guests who are clearly unwell will be asked to leave the lodge for the safety of the other guests and staff. We strongly recommend that you protect your trip by purchasing cancellation insurance.
