We also recommend researching Mountain Rescue Insurance and understanding the costs that may be involved in a mountain rescue.

In winter there are 2 guides and one tail guide per group of 14 guests. The whole crew generally starts the day together and separates into smaller groups during the day based on pace, ability and energy. There is usually an earlier or later chance to head back to the lodge (we call these the early bus and the late bus groups).
For our summer guided trips, we recommend 1 hiking guide per 6-8 guests.
